Weather Policy

Safety is #1 for Farmington Youth Lacrosse, and this includes weather-related events that can affect our players and families:

• Families will be notified by email or text when lacrosse activities need to be suspended, postponed, or canceled due to weather. Farmington Rec provides guidance to Farmington Youth Lacrosse on weather-related matters and school facility usage. Any changes to regularly scheduled lacrosse activities will be communicated by your coach.
   
• If weather—such as lightning—presents a danger during a game or practice already underway, determination to suspend or postpone the remainder of the activity will be made by coaches and/ or game officials.
